Third Party Logistics

In the last number of years the trend towards outsourcing has continued to grow around the world. Third Party Logistics (3PL), or Managed Warehousing as it is also known, is the function which the owner of goods outsources various elements of the supply chain to a 3PL company that can perform the management function of the clients inbound freight, customs, warehousing, order fulfilment, distribution and outbound freight to the clients customers.
